Outside of The Classroom

With the help of friends, Ed’s been restoring a 1938 International one-ton truck he picked up from his wife Janet’s family farm for her birthday. It was her grandfather’s harvesting truck and restoring it has become a labor of love.

As a life-long athlete, Edward is learning how to teleski—or Telemark Skiing—and recently joined a CrossFit Box. In the near future he wants to add sailing and French to his list of skills.

Edward immigrated to Canada as a child from Ireland and holds three passports: Irish, Canadian, and US. He has lived, worked, and traveled to over forty countries in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, South America, and North America.
